What’s On Your Mind With Jennifer Bandier.

Community means everything to me.  It’s a foundational pillar of BANDIER.  Making people feel that there is a place for everyone and being part of a community where you feel free to be yourself is so important to me.

We have a few exciting things to share with you this month. First up, our annual reset program is back! Spring is a time of renewal and recharge and every year we curate a special program that intentionally takes you on both a physical and emotional journey. Next, we were thrilled to catch up with Jennifer Bandier for this month's issue of What's On Your Mind? If the last name didn't give it away, she is the founder of BANDIER. Here at the ness we want you to prioritize feeling good and something that helps with that is wearing activewear that makes you feel good, makes you feel confident, and helps you to feel inspired to move your body.

BANDIER, a women's luxury activewear platform, believes you shouldn't have to sacrifice your style for performance. They believe fitness should be fun and you should feel good in the clothes that you're working out in. BANDIER proudly brings excitement, energy, and discovery to the activewear space.

Jennifer Bandier started BANDIER in 2014. With just a vision and virtually no fitness or fashion experience, Jennifer launched her first store in Southampton, NY after spending most of her career as a music industry executive managing artists and groups such as the R&B trio TLC.  She has been actively managing and contributing to BANDIER creatively since the brand's inception.

Every month, we get the chance to learn a little bit more about the incredible founders behind many of brands that we admire, so we couldn't wait to hear from Jennifer.

Let’s get into what Jenn had to say.

What's one way you find your joy in movement?

Workouts come and go, but for me something that I’m obsessed with is dance. I love listening to loud music.  If there isn’t loud music, there isn’t a workout.

What's the best piece of self-care advice you've ever received?

Always listen to your body.

How do you stay creative, inspired, motivated in your day-to-day life?

By being open to inspiration wherever it may come whether it be walking down the street, talking to friends, or traveling.

What's the biggest lesson you've learned as a founder?

Always trust your gut and instinct, and truly believe in yourself.

What does community mean to you? And how do you go about finding your own?

Community means everything to me.  It's a foundational pillar of BANDIER.  Making people feel that there is a place for everyone and being part of a community where you feel free to be yourself is so important to me.
