Monday
Bounce HIIT #8 bounce, sprint, sculpt, repeat | jess
What better way to kickstart my week than HIIT? It feels like the shakeup and shakeout my mind and body need to jump in.
This class challenges me physically and while it keeps me mentally engaged, I don’t have to think too hard about intricate choreography. the perfect balance of presence and power
Tuesday
Ness Sculpt #40 pop queen plank | aly
Day 2 of the week and I am a little bit more awake now and eager to tap back into choreography.
A ness sculpt allows me to find fluidity and strength through repetition and also acts as a meditation. This class is also a favorite because it fires up my full body, the playlist slaps, and there is minimal space or equipment needed so I can do it in my shoebox of an apartment without fail!
Wednesday
Bounce Intermediate #33 limitless kicks | shaina
Nothing shakes up the midweek hump like letting my legs FLY!
I love this class as a physical release, lymphatic drainage, as well as a mental release. Every kick allows me to not only activate and lengthen through my hamstrings and glutes, but truly toss out some emotional or mental BS i’ve been holding onto from the beginning of the week.
Thursday
Core Focus #22 Crunch to V-Sit | lil
This 10 minute core focus re-grounds me while simultaneously allowing my legs to rest after yesterday’s kick-palooza.
Giving myself a sole muscle focus, specifically my center, allows me to, no pun intended, feel more centered.
Through breath and a specific muscle focus, I am left feeling more present and connected to my full being.
Friday
Adv Duo #18 Fast and Fancy Footwork | jess
HEAT, SPICE, Get me to the weekend with this energetic rush!
This class is the most beautiful blend of challenging and energizing movement. I absolutely love the spicy yet seamless transition of bounce to sculpt with a sprint song utilizing the light weights.
The pace of this class pushes my endurance in such a mentally stimulating way that by the final push in tabletop I am both a. shocked class is over b. full puddle form
Saturday
Ness Stretch #3 Posture Release | colette
There are few things I love more than a cat-cow, so this class lets my spine find the freedom and ease it so desperately craves.
The lusciousness of this stretch allows me to tap back into my intentions. I am able to move dynamically in a way that simultaneously fulfills my movement craving and also allows me to find moments of static stretch to provide my muscles with beneficial active recovery.
This class induces mindfulness and keeps my movement practice sustainable. (burnout ain’t cute!)
Sunday
Oh bounce stability, I love to hate you/hate to love you!
This class provides me with simpler choreographic sequences and heavier emphasis on overall form and core.
I love to use this class as an accountability tool to not only become more precise in my planes of motion, but also to intentionally strengthen myself in ways that lend itself to my bounce technique.
For me, I’ve always loved this practice of returning to the basics to strengthen the foundation and find more freedom and power in the advanced sequences! At the end of the week, I feel like I can approach the moves I have seen thousands of times with a fresh outlook.
